At PLA International, we believe that research is not just a tool, but a powerful catalyst for equitable development work. This new organization represents a continuation of Platform for Labour Action Uganda's established work in championing workers' rights and social justice.
Our commitment spans research-driven project design, international collaboration, and community capacity building to achieve long-term self-sufficiency. We envision a world where every community has the tools and knowledge to advocate for their own development and prosperity.
PLA International will focus on expanding the reach of our programmes beyond Uganda's borders, building partnerships with like-minded organizations globally, and driving research that informs policy and practice in labour rights, migration, and social protection.
